Meet the new Business Director for the Eagle Rock Neighborhood Council (ERNC)! Brad will be the liaison to Eagle Rock’s business community and is responsible for communicating with business owners and stakeholders alike and presenting their views and needs to the ERNC. As many of you know, Brad is a resident, business owner, AND owner of commercial real estate in Eagle Rock. Being a small business owner himself, he knows what it takes to help businesses in this community thrive. He has a unique skill set to bring to the position being a real estate attorney and a real estate broker, and we are excited to see what he is able to accomplish in this new role!
The ERNC is an official city organization, staffed entirely by elected volunteers. They consider issues relevant to the community and make recommendations to the City of LA, City Council & the Mayor. Among their most important recommendations concern Land Use – any new building or change in use in Eagle Rock comes before the Land Use Committee. They also contribute funding to various community projects and events, such as Concerts in the Park, the Halloween Block Party & Pet Adoption, Shop Small Saturday, and more.
If you are interested in seeing the ERNC in action, all Board meeting and permanent committee meetings are OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. The ERNC Board of Directors meeting takes place the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm at Eagle Rock City Hall located at 2035 Colorado Boulevard. You can learn more at www.ernc.la.
